Income Tax Support
If you are living on a low or moderate income and have a simple tax situation (e.g., no self-employment, no rental income, or not the first year after a loved one’s death), we offer year-round free tax clinics to help you complete and file your annual income tax return. Knowledgeable and skilled community volunteers can assist you with preparing your tax return, a return for a previous year, understanding your Notice of Assessment, responding to CRA letters, and other tax-related matters.
To have your tax returned prepared, you have two options:
- Bring your documents to an appointment with an income tax support volunteer. Contact Us
- Collect your documents and drop them off at Gateway Community Health Centre during regular business hours , and an income tax support volunteer will call if they have additional questions or when your return is complete and ready for pickup.
