24/7 on Call - after scheduled hours you can contact a Physician and/or Nurse Practitioner by calling (613) 478-1211.
We have “On Call” services every evening, weekends, and on Statutory holidays. You are encouraged to use our “On Call” services before travelling to an emergency department. This is good practice as clients are offered medical advice or treated by our providers immediately for urgent care. If you do have an emergency then you would call 911 for transfer to an Emergency department as we do not have all the necessary equipment to manage medical emergencies.
Same Day access is available Monday – Friday 8:30am - 4:30pm by a Nurse Practitioner for Urgent care. Please call first thing in the morning as appointments are on a first-come, first-served basis.
Same Day/Next Day Access for urgent care:
In the event that you have urgent care needs, we have “Same Day” or Next Day” appointments available with our Nurse Practitioners. Appointments are provided on a first call basis. If all appointment times are booked, call back the following day, first thing in the morning. Please do not use this service if the care you require is suitable for a regular scheduled appointment, as other clients may need the time allotted to you. You will be attended to for immediate care needs in a “same day” or “next day” access appointment ONLY. Additional appointments may be required. Urgent care is defined as: a medical need that cannot wait for a regularly scheduled appointment but is not an emergency. Urgent care appointments are not for Physicals, forms completion, medication renewal, or general health concerns.
When calling for a same day/next day appointment:
· Call first thing in the morning for an appointment that day. If we are unable to schedule you the same day, you will be provided with an appointment for the next day.
· Same Day/Next Day appointments are triaged and seen by a Nurse Practitioner –please provide the receptionist with the health concern requiring the need for a same day/next day appointment. Your call may be forwarded to a Nurse Practitioner for further telephone assessment.
We are closed for lunch from 12:00 - 1:00 pm
