Therapist/Social Worker
The Therapist/Social Worker is responsible for providing individual and group work services to the clients both at the Centre and occasionally in their homes. Emphasis is placed on longer term mental health needs.
Reasons to seek help are varied and range from mental health to relationship issues.
Clients may self-refer or be referred by a health care provider. This service is opened to those living in Gateway's catchment area. Clients are seen by appointments only. There is a wait time of approximately 3 months for service. For an appointment, please call the Centre at (613) 478-1211, extension 229.
Psychiatrist
A consulting psychiatrist attends Gateway once a month to perform assessment and medication consulting services. The visiting psychiatrist sees clients by referral only.
