The award is designed to celebrate innovation and interdisciplinary health care that will accelerate progress towards the Second Stage of Medicare.  Founded in 2004, the New Health Professionals Network represents over 20,000 future healthcare professionals from across Canada.

STUDENT AWARDS

 Gateway Community Health Centre established a student award program in 2007, for students graduating from both grade 8 and grade 12 who have demonstrated a combination of academic merit and a commitment to a furthering of their academic career, while modeling a healthy active lifestyle.  These students must reside within the Gateway Community health Centre catchment area.
